At the University of Illinois, a bunch of guys took an elephant foot garbage can, filled it with rocks, attached 2 – 20 foot lengths of rope, and after the first snow, they made footprints through the campus, and down to the reservoir, where they chopped a hole in the ice.
People complained for weeks that the water tasted like elephant.
