Seriously, anyone who believes that the Republicans will behave in good faith absent a boot on their neck has the political acumen of Little Orphan Annie.
I gave up believing that the Democrats were sincerely looking for bipartisanship long ago. It's been painfully obvious that their "innocent" stance was just a mask for doing their part in the dance: one step right, two steps right. The Democrats are just going their job: being a false opposition while the country slides further and further into oligarchy.
