I imagine the this is best for everyone. ABC gets rid of a guy who wouldn’t know accuracy or journalism if it bit him in the butt, but whose well deserved termination would generate needless outrage from the first-cousins married for twelve generations brigade, and any network that employs Glenn Beck cannot have its reputation sullied by hiring him.
