Just as Rumsfeld wrecked our military, Condoleeza Rice is wrecking the State Department. This is not surprising.

She has always succeeded by virtue of the ability to talk a good game, and by holding Neocon views, not through competence. Her tenure as Stanford Provost was similarly disasterous.
