I saw the titles projected tonight at the title house--the first time I've seen any part of the film go through a projector--and they looked really nice. I paid the title people off and walked away with the negative. At last, something that came off exactly the way it was supposed to. Cool. For the next few days I have to do some running around: take the titles to the negative cutter so he can prep them for video, then take them to a transfer house and put them on video, then look at the video and choose beginning and end points, then take the video and titles to the negative cutter so he can cut them into the film. I wouldn't think that the video transfer would be absolutely necessary at this point in the process, but the negative cutter wants it, and what do I know anyway.
