April 14, 1998
I've been gathering addresses from everyone I know to invite them to the
screening, which is scheduled for May 10; my friend Jessica Shatan, who
did the movie's titles, is designing a postcard invitation. Tonight
I sat home and called the film's cast and crew to make sure that I send
the postcard to their current addresses. Everyone is excited to hear
that the movie is finally finished--their enthusiasm is contagious.
My tax refund hasn't arrived yet, and I can't pay AMMI for the screening
until I get tomorrow's paycheck. This impoverished-artist routine
sucks.
