I just had an interview with Force One Entertainment during which I was asked questions regarding my ethnicity.
First the interviewer, Alina Lee, asked me where I was from while looking at my resume--with my NY address on it. I told her I was from NY, not revealing my origins. Then she proceeded to ask me about my name. I told her my first name was made up, still not revealing my origins. She got flustered and wanted an answer. I told her how the name was made up from different names (Spanish and Jewish) while changing my tone and raising my eyebrows at her. So she finally started asking me questions regarding my qualifications. Unbelievable!!!
There is NO excuse for discriminatory questioning. What is equally shocking is that Force One Entertainment is run by an attorney!
Simply appalling!
